Global health research focusses on healthcare problems which transcend national borders and have global health impacts. Health research targeting the understanding of health equity, health systems and policy, disease burden, population health, and social determinants of health across geographical regions or country groups are analysed to develop innovative solutions for some of the major global health concerns.
